The Association for Writing Across the Curriculum (AWAC) is a professional organization that brings together the intellectual, human, political, and economic capital of the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) community to better support and grow WAC as a global intellectual and pedagogical movement.
AWAC promotes initiatives that support students’ writing across their academic careers, faculty development related to student writing and writing pedagogy, and research into writing across domains (e.g. disciplines, professions, communities, and academic levels) and transnationally.

Please join us at the 2020 International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference June 3rd through 6th in Fort Collins, Colorado, on the campus of Colorado State University. The theme of the conference, Celebrating Successes, Recognizing Challenges, Inviting Critique and Innovation, recognizes the 50th anniversary of the first WAC faculty workshop, held at Central College by Barbara Walvoord. With this in mind, IWAC 2020 offers an opportunity for both celebration of successes over the first 50 years of the WAC movement and thoughtful consideration of the challenges facing the WAC movement as we move forward
Please visit https://iwac.colostate.edu to learn more about the conference. To register, please visit https://conferencereg.colostate.edu/IWAC2020. AWAC members can take advantage of a discounted registration fee.
